		Alentus MediaStream Features

	How it Works. When you sign up for the MediaStream service, you will receive an FTP login that is independent from your website FTP login. This login will allow you to upload your audio and video files to a dedicated streaming server running the Microsoft® Windows Media™ Services. On your website pages, you can then create hyperlinks to your media files with a URL format that will be provided to you by Alentus.
	High Quality Output. Effectively managing and distributing data is a crucial component to offering end-users the quality they seek. Alentus MediaStream supports the industry-leading Windows Media format, which includes the only video codec that offers near-DVD quality video at as low as 750 Kbps, the Windows Media audio format, which offers CD-quality audio at 96 Kbps, and the revolutionary Windows Media Screen codec, which offers exceptional reproductions of computer screen movement at resolutions as high as 800 × 600 and data rates as low as 22 Kbps.
